Encinitas Yoga 'Connects the Dots'

Some towns are known to have a gas station and a fast-food restaurant on every corner; Encinitas has a reputation for having a Yoga studio on every corner. That means lots of choices and plenty of Yoga energy all around. With all those choices, mine has consistently been Encinitas Yoga at 2nd and E streets.

I have occasionally attended classes elsewhere, and enjoyed every one each in their way. But I have committed to practicing regularly at Encinitas Yoga because the teachers and students there help me “connect the dots” in my lifelong practice of transformational integrative arts. Transitioning from 22 years training in a traditional style of karate, I was looking for a practice that sustained the seriousness of rigor for correct posture, meditation, and excellence of instruction, without sacrificing kindness, good will, and friendliness. I found that combination 11 years ago at Synergy Yoga, and recently at Encinitas Yoga when they opened one year ago as Synergy Yoga moved to Northern California. From beginners to the most advanced practitioners, all are welcomed and treated to high quality instruction, good will and kindness at whatever point they are in their process.

At Encinitas Yoga, teachers do not just teach, they also take classes regularly in order to develop and refine their own practices. As do all outstanding teachers, they are always growing and learning as practitioners---and it shows in the quality of instruction as well as in the atmosphere of the studio. Each teacher is unique and yet all consistently deliver the same high quality instruction and integrity with the flow that in-it-for-life people like me love.

Yes, there are many fine places to practice Yoga in Encinitas. But Encinitas Yoga goes the extra step from good to consistently outstanding.
