Rodrigo Pinheiro

Teacher

Rodrigo Pinheiro was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He received his 1,340 hour teacher training certificate with Bel Aguiar and his teacher João Paulo Pereira at Yôga & Cultura in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, and is a graduate of the First Brazilian University of Yôga. In early 2009 he moved to San Diego to introduce the amazing DeRose Method to California.

He has practiced and studied with many Yôga masters and experts, such as DeRose, Edgardo Caramella, Carlos Cardoso, Sérgio Santos, among others.

Rodrigo is directly supervised by Master DeRose, founder of the First Brazilian University of Yôga and the International University of Yôga, which has schools in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, United States, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and the UK.

Rodrigo teaches a Tuesday evening class at 6:00 p.m. for our more advanced yogis and a Thursday morning class at 11:00 a.m.for our gentle yogis. In either case, he will adapt the class to the abilities of the yogis present.
